It is a dream come true to visit Las Vegas. If I ever live in Las Vegas, I think I will get wasted everyday. We have drove for so long on the road, sacrifice our sleep to travel from Los Angeles to Las Vegas but it is all worth it.

Giant mega-casino hotels are everywhere and the city is decorated with lavish care that make you feel out of the world.

Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas and it is just as stunning as the Eiffel Tower in Paris!

Even the McDonald's in Las Vegas also looks so cooooool!

One of the MUST-SEE attractions in Las Vegas is the Fountain Show at Bellagio. It is playing "Time to say goodbye" by Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman. I still have this amazing WOW WOW WOW feeling every time I play this video clip.

We had our late dinner at The Cheesecake Factory.

And of cos, one of the must order food in The Cheesecake Factory is cheesecake!! I love this red velvet cake so much!

Even though the whole trip was really rush, it was definitely a memorable trip with awesome company. Special thanks to Christian and Devy cos this trip will never be possible without these two "pilots".
Vegas, I will be back for you again....
Las Vegas is amazing and what a wonderful picture of Bellagio..
ReplyDeleteThanks! Really wish I can spend more time in Vegas. I will be going to Dubai next month. Any good places to go? :)
ReplyDeleteWow! When will you be there? Lots of nice places to go. Are you looking for restaurants or sights?
ReplyDeleteI will be there around 13 to 20 august. I am looking for both and esp sightseeing! Heee.. Any good recommendations? Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm in Denmark at that time (leaving Dubai on the 8th). Otherwise I would have loved to show you around. Most of the sights in Dubai are man-made, but they are still pretty impressive. Souk Madinat/Madinat Jumeirah is an excellent place for dining as well as great views of Burj Al Arab (the 7-star hotel). Then there's all the malls. My favorite is Dubai Mall, which is also the world's biggest shopping mall. They have an indoor ice skating rink and shopping en masse, including a Dubai branch of Magnolia Bakery (Cheesecake Factory is also to open soon, I've heard). The dining opportunities in Dubai is endless, and compared to Denmark, dining out is cheap, and you find cuisines from all over the world. If you are there on a Friday, don't miss to try out one of the extravagant Friday brunch buffets. If you have the time, an excursion to the desert to see a beduin camp is also highly recommended:)
ReplyDeletei hope you have a wonderful stay, and please write me if you have any other questions.
Btw. Ramadan is July 20- August 18 this year, so most restaurants are closed and the city appears rather dead during daytime, and you're not allowed to eat or drink in public between sunrise and sunset. However, it's fully compensated by the extravagant iftar-buffets and celebration after dark:)
ReplyDeleteHello! I am still in Dubai and I am going back to Singapore tomorrow. Haha.. I love Dubai except the weather. I have been eating briyani, curry, chicken tikka etc almost everyday. I also tried the cheesecake factory in Dubai Mall. It is opened already! I hope I can come back to Dubai soon for the desert safari tour!! :D
ReplyDeleteIt's so hot in Dubai right now, so I'm glad I'm in China:) Sounds like you've had some delicious food. And I'm so happy to hear that Cheesecake Factory is finally open!
