Day 1
S.N.O.W! Oh finally! I finally see snow! I was hoping to see snow before winter ends and I finally see it! I have been to cities with sub-zero temperature for the past few weeks such as London, Zurich and Beijing but there wasn't any snow at all.

You can see how happy I was jumping for joy in the snow!

We went out for lunch together at the restaurant which is nearby to our hotel. Beer is everywhere in Germany and they brew one of the best beer in the world! I had the beer mixed with cola and the taste was very smooth on my throat. Love it! :)

I had the seafood spaghetti and it was excellent with the extra chili flakes and spicy olive oil.

We shared the rocket-parma ham pizza. Real good pizza! Yum!
Next, we went to the town area Marienplatz to meet up with Matthew's friend Peter who stay in Germany. He brought us to a famous Bavarian restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere but I don't really enjoy the Bavarian cuisine. Bavarian food is very meaty and it is way too much meat for me. Anyway, I have lost all the photos that we have taken in the restaurant cos I have deleted it accidentally. :(

After our dinner, we went straight to the local pub to relax and chill out. This is how the pub looked like. Pretty small and unfurnished but a cosy place to hide away from the winter chills.

The four of us with Peter in the middle. End of Day 1 in Munich. :)

Day 2
We went to Marienplatz again to do some shopping. I would really love to go sightsee instead and visit the Neuschwanstein Castle or the Dachau Concentration camp but the weather was too cold. It was an insane -16°C!
We passed by this church and had a quick look within.

We settle for our lunch at this restaurant and the girls had Pork Knuckles.

Bavarian band playing while we dine. :)

This is how the setting of the restaurant looked like - High ceilings, wooden tables and chairs.
Here are some random photos I have taken in Marienplatz.

Everyday at 11am, 12noon and 5pm, the Glockenspiel will chime and re-enact two stories from the 16th century to the amusement of the mass crowds. It is one of the main attractions to see in Munich.

And that's the end of Day 2 spent in Munich. :)

Day 3
The big group of us went to the same restaurant which is nearby to our hotel to have our lunch. It is really nice to join so many tables and eat with such a large group of people. You don't get such opportunity that often. A few of us also had a mini snow fight on our way back to the hotel. SO FUN!!! :D
[caption id="attachment_1436" align="alignnone" width="584" caption="Snow Angels"]

One of the best part of this Munich trip is I got to meet up with my batch girl Juan! We had some crazy fun playing with the snow. We made snow angels! :)

We also made our very first snow man!! :D

And..we went to my room for a camwhoring session.

Time sure flies! I am about to enter my first year in the workforce and I am so glad that we are still enjoying our lifestyle so much! We are definitely having the time of our lives! And.. I hope I can travel to as many places as possible. That's my passion! :)
thats awesome, camwhoring lol. Do you speak multiple languages and find it hard to travel to all these places?
ReplyDeleteI can only speak English and Mandarin. Sometimes it can be a little difficult to communicate with the locals esp when finding directions. :)
